Wisconsin Packaging Upgrades to HRMS Gen/2

Elmhurst, IL – July 12, 2007 – HRMS Inc., a subsidiary of VantagePoint Systems, Inc. (TSX-Venture: VPG), announced today that Wisconsin Packaging Corporation has upgraded their software system to Gen/2, the latest upgrade of the proven HRMS core business software system for corrugated packaging manufacturers.  Gen/2 builds on the technology and functionality of the HRMS Release 2006 that was introduced in September 2006, and includes significant new software enhancements.

Some of the improved features in Gen/2 include advanced search and look-up capabilities, open data access and reporting, and the introduction of Graphical User Interface (GUI).  The new GUI also introduces a Windows-type customizable user home page with role-based controls and access criteria to the HRMS software.  The easy report generation and report export to PDF format that allows on-screen viewing and archiving to MS Windows network can be utilized by all departments.  Gen/2 will continue to operate with various third-party interfaces.  Wisconsin Packaging is currently utilizing the CAD interface, HRMS Unitized Inventory module and using the bar-coded load tag solution.

“We didn’t really know what to expect as we’d never been a pilot site for new software before,” commented Mark Schopen, Controller at Wisconsin Packaging.  “We have been very positively surprised as the HRMS team has done a very good job covering all aspects of the go-live and have been very responsive with minor issues that have come up.”
