Caribbean Packaging Benefits from Gen/2 Power Searches

Lombard, IL – April 11, 2008 – HRMS Inc., a subsidiary of VantagePoint Systems, Inc., announced today that Caribbean Packaging Industries of Port-of-Spain, Trinidad & Tobago, has upgraded their business software to Rohde Software Gen/2, the latest version of the proven HRMS core business software for corrugated packaging manufacturers. 

The Gen/2 software includes a more versatile Purchase Order module, streamlined Order Entry and enhanced functionality for the estimating of assembled and unassembled sets as a part of Release 2006, the previous release of the HRMS software.  Building further on the functionality of the previous release, Gen/2 utilizes a role-based user home page and enables data to be exported into Microsoft Office applications through comprehensive data extraction tools built into the software.
The Gen/2 PowerSearch™ tool allows users to create their own queries against any data in the system, and minimizes the time needed to process daily work by allowing instant access to important information without the interruption of the current task performed.
