Akers Packaging Upgrades to HRMS Release 2006

Lombard, IL – July 17, 2008 – HRMS Inc., a subsidiary of VantagePoint Systems, Inc., announced today that Akers Packaging Service Group of Middletown (OH) has upgraded their business software to HRMS Release 2006, a version of the proven HRMS core business software for corrugated packaging manufacturers.  Release 2006 builds on the technology and functionality of existing HRMS software, and includes significant software enhancements that provide the foundation for HRMS Gen/2, the latest version of the HRMS software. 

The HRMS Release 2006 software has been implemented in all of the Akers plants in the Midwest, including the newly acquired Tecumseh plants.  Some of the improved features of Release 2006 include a more versatile Purchase Order module, streamlined Order Entry and enhanced functionality for the estimating of assembled and unassembled sets.  A new cost analysis tool provides Release 2006 users a more powerful sales tool to analyze costs and pricing results.
