HRMS Announces Advanced Planning & Scheduling Module
Lombard, IL – March 7, 2008 – HRMS Inc., a subsidiary of VantagePoint Systems, Inc., announced a significant new software module for their Rohde Software Gen/2 core business software, HRMS Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS). The HRMS Advanced Planning & Scheduling module is a converting scheduling module designed specifically for the paperboard packaging industry, and provides automatic scheduling of jobs based on forward, backward or bottleneck loading.
The HRMS APS provides instant real-time visibility of the schedule, including load vs. capacity, across all machines and plants, to add departments. E-mail ready line-up reports are created immediately saving time for the scheduling and production staff. The software allows like-jobs to be grouped automatically for significant cost savings in reduced make-ready times.

This allows packaging manufacturers to see the actual costs involved if any changes are needed for a scheduled job.
